Pure Talent - The Krummelsons!

We were surprised tonight with a wonderful talent show put on by the Krummenacher cousins & my kids. Here's a glimpse of what we got to enjoy.... I actually have lots more video, but it takes way too long to upload it. I know,I know. Don't cry with disappointment that you can't see them all. It was actually so cute to watch each one of these kids put on an act of some sort. We got comedy, magic, singing, dancing, skits, more singing, more dancing, more comedy. It was a lot of fun to see them all do this together. Quite a night of entertainment

Kristen Needs

I saw this on a friend's blog and thought it was funny. You google your name with the word needs after it and see what it says. Some say it should give you enlightenment. I think it's pure silliness. Here's my first five after Kristen Needs. 1. Kristen needs to rethink the top. 2. Kristen needs to lay her egg. 3. Kristen needs a new connection petition (what?) 4. Kristen needs to practice big fun in the sun solo. 5. Kristen needs to giggle, quite a lot. Not sure exactly what that's supposed to teach me, but whatever!

Some of the things I love

I have been so blessed this past week! I have been able to do some of my most favorite things. I love rainy summer nights in Arizona. A few nights ago, we had a big storm pass through. As you can see, the kids didn't hesitate to take advantage of the rain. They went outside to play in it with their cousins and got soaked! I had a fun time watching them with my mom, brother Todd and Sister Laura. We sat and chatted and had a good time while enjoying the smell of summer rain and the sounds of laughter. I love being with my family and feel so blessed that my parents raised us to be close to each other. I have the best family! I also love a good pedicure. I wish I could get them more often. July 14th was Laura's birthday. I had such a fun time with her that day getting pedicures and going to lunch. It was so great, you would think it was my birthday too. Aren't these cute pedicures? (I think we have the same feet!) I just love, love, love my sister. She has always been right beside me through trials and joys. She is my rock. She is a best friend. I stand in amazement at all she does and all she is. Thank you Laura for being the best sister anyone could ever have. I love you! I was also able to get together with some of my friends. This is Shelly, Lynda and Karla. We've been friends for a very long time. We haven't seen each other much as the years have gone by. But, as I visited with these friends and thought about the relationship I've had with them, I've realized again how truly blessed I've been to have them in my life. These 3 girls were some of those who were by my side during the most difficult time of my life...my Dad's sudden death. Words can never express how much they helped me, loved me, and were there for me when I needed them most. AND, although time has gone by and we only see each other once in a while, we have a bond between each other that not many others have. I am so grateful for these girls.

Krazy 4th of July

Yeah! We're in Arizona visiting family and enjoying time together. We had a "Krazy" and very non traditional 4th of July this year. We usually have a big BBQ/fireworks thing with the whole family including my Grandma & Aunt Janet & cousins. This year, everyone was gone. My brother Matt moved to Utah. My brother Todd & fam were on a cruise (I know, poor guy). The rest were off in other places. SO, it was my sister, Laura, & famiy and my Mom & Frank. Laura & Brent just opened another Krazy Sub shop right across the street from the only place in Mesa that was having fireworks. They thought it would be smart to have their new shop open during the fireworks. SO, we grabbed the games and went over to Krazy Sub to enjoy their yummylicious subs while watching the fireworks accross the street. It was a very different 4th of July, but fun anyway. They stayed really busy at the sub shop, the kids had fun with their cousins and we had great seats that weren't by the crowd with unlimited pop and ice cream cones. Who can ask for more?
